DATA SHARING
The regulations state that all COVID-19 positive, indeterminate, negative and void results from point of care testing (POCT) are mandated by law to be reported to Public Health England (PHE). POCT is defined as a diagnostic test that is performed outside of the laboratory setting and therefore includes Lateral Flow Testing.
As a result your information, recorded as part of the Lateral Flow Testing, will be uploaded to the National PHE system. This information will be stored in a Surveillance System, which is the national laboratory surveillance system that holds all notifiable test results and results from infections of public health interest.

You do not need to undertake any additional steps as this will be completed by the Trust using the information recorded when assigning your testing equipment and the data you record regarding your results. For further information please see HERE.
